Manual Nickel Line

Each station is 84” x 30” x 54”deep.  Three of the tanks are 36” wide.  The nickel tank and one of the extra tanks are rubber-lined.  The tank linings appear to be in good condition, as do the tank integrities.

Includes Jessup twin hook hoist (best guess on hoist capacity is 3-ton), new hoist superstructure and festooning cable system. The superstructure and track were built with new steel beams, but the line was never put into operation.  OAD is about 40’L x 9’W x 12’H with the hoist.

All that is needed to complete the line are anode baskets, nickel solution, catwalk, bus bar and rectifiers.

Process sequence:

• Tank 1: Three-station cleaner tank (two soak cleaners and one electro cleaner.  Counterflow rinse.  No bussing.) 84” x 90” x 54”deep
• Tank 2: Single-station rinse 84” x 30” x 54”deep
• Tank 3: Two-station acid 84” x 60” x 54”deep
• Tank 4: One station acid rinse 84” x 36” x 54”deep
• Tank 5: Five-station nickel plating tank. 12′ 6″ long.  Includes air agitation piping. 84” x 150” x 54”deep
• Tank 6: One-station rinse tank, lined, 84” x 36” x 54”deep, includes external overflow weir.
• Tank 7: Single-station extra tank 84” x 30” x 54”deep
• Tank 8: Single-station extra tank. lined, 84” x 36” x 54”deep, no overflow weir ***SOLD***
